What is Kinderkinetics?

Kinderkinetics is a fun, engaging, scientific physical activity programme designed to promote strong neuro-motor developmental foundations in children from birth to 13 years. Through age-appropriate, play-based movement, we support children in developing confidence, independence, and the fundamental motor skills they need to thrive.

Overall child development including:

Physical development programme supporting gross motor skills, coordination, balance and overall child health

Physical Development

Supporting the development of gross motor skills and overall physical health by boosting feel good hormones and helping reduce the risk of obesity and cardiovascular illnesses.

Movement-based activities supporting emotional development, self-confidence, resilience and positive social interactions

Emotional Development

By building self-confidence through movement, children become more willing to engage, participate, and explore their world with greater independence — learning to understand and regulate their emotions while developing positive interactions with peers at school and in everyday life.

Cognitive Development

The brain and body work together to help children make sense of what they see, feel, and hear, supporting learning, movement, critical thinking and problem-solving.

Physical, emotional and cognitive development working together to support a child's overall growth and development

In the same way a house is built, physical development lays the foundation, emotional and social development form the walls, and cognitive development creates the roof.

Helping children

grow, move & thrive

Confident movement helps build confident children, which is why our focus is not only on how children move, but also on how they feel while they move. Through movement, children learn about the world, and these early experiences form the fundamental building blocks for future development.

Our Why

To make a meaningful difference in children's lives.

?

Children thrive when they feel accomplished, supported, and capable. Through Kinderkinetics, we build personal relationships with children by taking the time to get to know them, understand how they move, what they need, and celebrate their progress one small win at a time, while purposefully supporting the development of gross motor skills and overall health.

Progress is measured in quiet moments:

Children developing confidence, resilience and perseverance through movement-based learning activities

A child finding the courage to try again

Children improving balance, coordination and gross motor skills through Kinderkinetics activities

Holding balance just a second longer

Children building self-confidence, independence and a positive self-image through movement and achievement

The moment a child realises, 'I can do this.'

Founder of Shine & Thrive Kinderkinetics

Jessica Loudon, founder of Shine & Thrive Kinderkinetics, supporting children through movement, confidence building and child

I am deeply passionate about supporting children through movement in a way that builds confidence, connection, and capability.

What drew me to Kinderkinetics is the opportunity to work closely with children — getting to know them as individuals and supporting them at their own pace. I believe that strong fundamental motor skills are the foundation for healthy development, learning, and self-belief later in life.

At Shine & Thrive, every child is met with patience, care, and encouragement.
